Privacy and cookies
What this site stores, what it does not, and how to change your choice. Last updated 21 September 2026.
The short version
This site sets no cookies. The only thing kept on your device is your answer to the cookie question, so we stop asking. There is no analytics running today, and if we add any it will not load until you accept it.
Essential storage
One item, kept in your browser’s local storage under the key laya.cookie-consent. It records whether you accepted or declined analytics, when you decided, and which version of these categories you were shown.
It is not a cookie and is never sent to our servers. A banner that set a cookie in order to remember that you refused cookies would be a strange thing to build.
This cannot be switched off, because without it the site has no way to honour your answer and would ask again on every page. Clearing your browser storage removes it, and the banner returns.
Analytics
There is no analytics on this site today. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no PostHog, no advertising or social pixels. We have not chosen a tool yet.
The consent mechanism is in place ahead of that decision. When a tool is added it will load only after you accept, and this page will be updated to name it and list the cookies it sets. If you decline, nothing in that category runs at all.
If you accept and then change your mind in the same visit, the page reloads. A script that has already started cannot be stopped by removing it, so the honest way to revoke is to load the page again without it.
Third parties
None. Every file this page loads comes from this site: the images, the stylesheet and the fonts. Nothing your browser requests while reading this goes to another company’s server.
This used to say one, an external image CDN. The images now sit on this site’s own server, so that request no longer happens. If that ever changes, this section changes with it.
The contact form
What you type into the contact form is sent to our own systems and stored so we can reply: your name, email, phone if you give one, and your message. It is not passed to any third party and is not used for marketing.
The form carries one hidden field that people never see and never fill in. Automated submissions tend to fill every field they find, so anything arriving with it completed is discarded. It collects nothing about you.
Changing your mind
Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. It reopens the same choice and shows what each category covers. You can switch either way, as often as you like.
Asking us about your data
Email info@layainnovations.com and we will answer. That includes asking us to delete anything you have sent through the contact form.
